I am absolutely thrilled to share my first children’s book Kate the Earthling available now! This story was inspired by my own childhood and is incredibly special to me. My hope for this book is to instill our connection with nature early in the lives of the youngest Earthlings, which is when my own connection to nature began. The future of this planet and all who share it lies with them.
Kate the Earthling was written for ages 4-8, but the story will be enjoyed by Earthlings of all ages! The book is available for purchase directly through my website shop or wherever you buy your books online. The book is available in both hardcover and paperback with illustrations done by the talented Winona Kieslich.

Kate just moved and is feeling a little sad and lonely. This new town is unfamiliar - she misses her friends and her old house. But a walk through the woods turns into a nature adventure with new friends and Kate learns she's been at home all along.
Kate Shooltz tells the story of one little girl's discovery that we are all Earthlings. An important lesson that we should not only care for our home, the Earth, but for all of those who share it.

About the Author
Kate Shooltz is a passionate follower of a biophilic lifestyle, one enriched by nature. As the artist known as Kate the Earthling, she uses preserved moss and other natural materials to create unique art that brings nature into people’s daily lives. With her own personal connection to nature deeply rooted in her childhood, she wanted to write and illustrate a whimsical story for children that introduces this connection to nature early in their lives, fostering a generation to grow up appreciating and advocating for the Earth.
