Installations & Special Collections
When the opportunity comes along to create a larger collection, a public installation or to collaborate with another artist I am always excited. These sorts of projects allow me to work a bit more out of the box and often result in something extra unique. If you're interested in collaborating or discussing a show or installation opportunity please contact me through the form below.
Art installations & featured collaborations
KARENSANSUI · CENTER CITY, PA
A dry garden, built vertical in moss and stone.
A karesansui is a Japanese dry garden, where rock and raked ground stand in for mountains and water, and I built a vertical one for the ArtBox window at Lincoln Square on South Broad Street.
It was up for six months, presented by the Center for Emerging Visual Artists, and I designed it hoping it would give people moving through Center City somewhere to pause.
KATE THE EARTHLING X A.J. ZONE DESIGN
Upcycled drum shells, planted with moss.
Aaron Harel builds drums over at a.j. zone design, and he had a set of old shells sitting around that he couldn't bring himself to throw out, so he brought them to me instead.
They're still perfectly drum shaped, and you can tell what they used to be from across the room.
